Laurie McClain is a 45-year Gwinnett resident and graduate of Parkview High School. Now, she is raising her three children here. She has a 35-year career in public accounting and has operated a small business in Gwinnett since 1996.

Laurie was on the board for High-Hope Service Center, which serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and a board member and treasurer for the Hudgens Center for Art & Learning. She also volunteers with Gwinnett Medical Center and Annandale Village.

Laurie has also given her time to serve on multiple county committees.
