Ben Archer is following in the footsteps of his father, Julian Archer Sr., who was a Gwinnett County Commissioner in the late 60s.

Ben has worked for the City of Lawrenceville and the Gwinnett Government. He is currently employed with Gwinnett Public Schools, where he's been for nearly 20 years. He's also serving on the Gwinnett Planning Commission Board.

Ben is a lifelong Gwinnett resident and grew up in Dacula. Ben's wife, Stephanie, is originally from Lawrenceville. They have three children who attend Gwinnett Public Schools. The Archer family attends Ebenezer Baptist Church.
